Akasha is a Sanskrit word which means ether, primary or primordial substance out of which everything is formed. The Akashic Records are believed to be a multi-dimensional library of light wherein all the information and wisdom pertaining to each and every soul ever incarnated is encoded in light.
What is the purpose of an Akashic Records Reading?
An Akashic Records reading can be an opportunity to look at who you are in your life from the perspective of your soul. They can provide soul-level perspective and guidance on current life challenges. A reading can support an individual to remember their true essence.
During an Akashic Records Reading, where is the information coming from?
During a reading, you and Sarah are communicating with your Masters, Teachers, and Loved Ones. Sarah receives information from the Heart of the Akashic Records in a direct relay of information that she then shares with you.
Is an Akashic Records reading a mediumship reading or psychic reading? Do you have to have some sort of “gift” to read the records?
No. An Akashic Records Reading is not an intuitive process, nor does it access the psychic or
medium realm, it accesses the realm of soul-level consciousness. For centuries, the records were reportedly used exclusively by saints, mystics, and scholars who underwent rigorous and extensive training to ensure the sanctity of the work. Then in the early to mid 1900s, a man named Edgar Casey began reading the records publicly. Since then the records have become more widely used and are available to anyone with the commitment to seek and spread Divine Light. You do not have to have a “gift” to read the records, and in fact, if you are feeling called to the records, Sarah encourages you to follow the calling and explore working with them on your own as well. What types of questions can I ask?
It’s best to avoid asking yes or no questions like “should” or “when” or “is” questions as they elicit one word responses. Instead, “what,” “why,” and “how” questions tend to elicit more information.
What if I don’t like what I hear in a reading?
It is always up to you whether or not you want to accept or reject the information you receive in
a reading and there is no right or wrong here! Ultimately, you know what’s best for you, and Sarah encourages you to discern if the information you receive in a reading resonates with you or not. Learning to trust yourself and your own knowing is part of the journey. That being said, it’s also useful to speak openly and honestly about what you’re feeling during a reading as this can be helpful with the process and receiving guidance and/or clarification from your Masters, Teachers, and Loved Ones on the issue. I’m drawn to doing a reading, but I feel scared. What advice do you have to help me to decide if I want to do a reading?
That still, small voice inside you knows if/when you’re ready for a reading. Consider asking for guidance, taking whatever time you need to get clear, and then trusting that you will know if/when the time is right.
Can I explore past lives in my reading? Are we doing past life regression?
Past life work in the Akashic Records is not the same as doing past life regression. If you’re looking to explore a specific past life in depth, past life regression work may be a better modality for this purpose. Typically past life work in the records can come up in a reading only when it is directly related to the present issue. General exploration of past lives is not part of a reading.

No, the Records cannot predict the future because of free will. However, things to consider about
future possibilities can be explored in the Records.
Can I ask about other people in my reading?
No. Sarah cannot go into other people’s records without their permission. She cannot go into the record of a relationship without both partners’ permission. She also cannot go into the records of anyone under the age of 18. If you’re curious about someone else, consider exploring how that person might be impacting your life, what role they might be playing in your learning, or even why you feel so compelled to ask about them. A useful tip here is to always bring the questions back to you and how an experience is impacting you, because your reading is about you and your soul’s perspective.

Not necessarily. Often, the Masters, Teachers, and Loved Ones communicate through symbols, metaphors, or images that aren’t always meant to be taken at face value. Part of the magic of a reading is that it’s a co-creative experience. Rather than Sarah interpreting everything for you, you’re invited into the process—bringing your own intuition, insights, and curiosity. Sometimes information comes through like a puzzle, and the “aha” moment emerges when we explore it together.
