hi, I'm SARAH
That's how I felt after my divorce. All I could think was—WTF? How had I gotten it so wrong? I had spent years in therapy, immersed myself in spiritual work, studied everything about what it takes to be in a healthy relationship—and I even got paid to help other people solve their problems!
But none of that saved me from the pain and confusion I was in. None of it gave me the freedom and clarity I so desperately wanted.
So I did the only thing that made sense at the time: I dropped everything I was doing and went looking for answers.
Maybe it’s because we’ve spent so much time being the responsible ones, the strong ones, the ones who keep showing up for everyone else. (Or maybe I’m just projecting, because, well, it happens to the best of us :).
And if you’re anything like me, you know how to think your way through challenges, including how to heal from the aftermath of divorce. You're great at strategizing and analyzing and maybe even enlisting the help of other professionals and friends for support.
But here’s the thing: despite all of your efforts to "figure it out," you're still feeling sad, confused, and scared to open your heart again.
I was searching for what I didn’t yet know about myself and what the heck had happened in my marriage. I was determined to uncover the unconscious patterns that kept me from the relationship I so deeply wanted.
At some point in my journey, I stumbled across Conscious Loving, by Gay and Katie Hendricks, which led me to the work of Dr. Julie Colwell, who then led me deeper into the work of Dr. David Hawkins. And that trio of teachers all helped me realize one thing: that despite 15+ years of on-and-off therapy, training, seminars, all kinds of holistic healing, books, and even a graduate degree in mental health…
Blame-free anger expression?
Because instead of trying to think yourself out of the self doubt and relationship fears that are creeping around in the back of your mind, you can tune in and learn how to release what’s happening inside of you. And not only can this connection with yourself support you in handling whatever comes your way, it can also support you to build a relationship that is aligned with your truest self.
For years, I thought I was doing everything to feel better—talk therapy, EMDR, 12-step groups, journaling, you name it. If anyone had told me I wasn’t fully feeling my feelings, I would’ve thought they were crazy—because if I wasn’t feeling them, why did I feel so damn crappy all the time? It turns out that what I wasn’t doing was releasing the energy of those feelings. And that missing piece? It was everything I didn’t even know I needed.
Having navigated my own "divorce dark night of the soul" and worked with other women going through the same, I’ve noticed something: despite years of inner work, many still feel stuck. They’re baffled as to why, after putting so much effort into healing, they’re not moving forward.
That’s why I focus on working with women like you—because we’re great at doing the work, showing up for ourselves, and doing what we can to feel our feelings. But despite all that effort, something still feels off—you’re still holding onto the fear of getting hurt again.
Here’s what I believe: that despite all the work you’ve been doing, you’re missing the most important piece—having a practical, clear, step-by-step process to release the energy of that fear. And when you learn how to move that energy through your body? Everything just might shift—including your relationship with yourself, your confidence, and the way you experience life in general.
